Dear Friends and Neighbors,

In an effort to foster a safer and more prepared community, Stilwell United Methodist Church is honored to extend an invitation to the entire community for a vital and informative evening. We are partnering with Deputy Jack Weese from the Johnson County Sheriff's Department to offer an Active Shooter Awareness and Training Session. This important event is open to all community members, aiming to equip everyone with knowledge and strategies in Active Shooter scenarios.

The training will focus on the "Run, Hide, Fight" protocol, a recognized approach to actively responding to the threat of an active shooter situation. Designed to enhance your safety and preparedness, this session will provide practical, actionable advice that can be crucial in critical moments.

Understanding the adult nature of the conversation, childcare will be provided at the church for younger children during the event.

In these challenging times, knowledge is not just power - it's protection. We encourage every member of our community to join us for this educational evening. Together, we can take proactive steps towards creating a safer environment for ourselves and our loved ones.
